International Baptist Church

International Baptist Church (IBC) is located in gated community. The people there mostly work in connection with the local copper mine and are an upcoming middle-class segment. However, they are very difficult to reach with the good news. Many feel like they have all they need, so the gospel doesn't appeal to them. Others desire a spiritual life but are still deeply impacted by Neo-Pentecostalism. As a result, they seek after religious groups who spread a false gospel and who hold services that highlight acts of "power" from men who spread things contrary to the written Word.

IBC seems to gain traction in the community for a while, but then the newcomers run back to the false groups over time. Though we are small in numbers, we have continued meeting, and we are gaining a reputation for spreading the truth and showing love to the community.
